The AvaLight-XE is a pulsed xenon light source designed for high-performance ultraviolet applications, including fluorescence spectroscopy. It can be connected to an AvaSpec spectrometer using the IC-DB26-2 cable (sold separately), allowing precise synchronization of flashes with data collection. The number of flashes per scan can be adjusted through AvaSoft software. With a specialized deep-ultraviolet (DUV) bulb, the AvaLight-XE supports applications extending below 200 nm, making it ideal for advanced UV spectroscopy.
Applications:
- Fluorescence Spectroscopy: Ideal for fluorescence measurements, where pulsed light is required for excitation.
- Deep-Ultraviolet (DUV) Spectroscopy: Suitable for applications in the deep UV range, extending below 200 nm.
- Chemical and Biological Analysis: Used for analyzing chemical and biological samples that require UV light excitation.
- Material Testing: Applied in material science for testing and characterizing materials in the UV spectrum.
- Environmental Monitoring: Useful for detecting pollutants and chemical compounds in the environment using UV light.
